May 29, 2016: Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers put up an incredible performance to ruin Virat Kohli's fairytale season as SRH beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 runs in a high-octane summit clash and walked away with their maiden Indian Premier League trophy.

Royal Challengers Bangalore succumbed to the pressure of a mammoth run chase as Sunrisers Hyderabad clinched their maiden Indian Premier League title thanks to an eight-run victory in a thrilling summit clash on May 29, 2016. It was David Warner's batting and astute captaincy complemented by some inspirational death overs bowling by Mustafizur Rahman (1/37) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (0/25) that helped SRH win their maiden title. Captain David Warner continued his good form by scoring a sizzling 69 off 38 balls, and he had able support from first, his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan, and then later from Yuvraj Singh.
