Matthew McConaughey could have a shot at becoming governor of Texas, according to a new poll that found the Oscar winner has more support from voters in the state than incumbent Gov. Greg Abbott. Forty-five percent of registered voters in the Lone Star State would vote for McConaughey, while 33 percent would vote for Abbott and 22 percent would choose someone else, according to a poll released Sunday by the Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler consisting of 1,126 voters.More Related News
