The former GOP lawmaker launched "The Matt Gaetz Show" on the right-wing network with an interesting look.
Scandal-plagued former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) made his hosting debut on One America News Network on Thursday night after his failed attorney bid and the release of a damning House Ethics Committee report.
The controversial right-wing network announced last month that Gaetz would be joining its prime-time lineup with “The Matt Gaetz Show” in a 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. slot, weeks after he withdrew as Donald Trump’s pick to lead the Justice Department.
Among other guests, Gaetz hosted fellow pro-MAGA extremists Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) and Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) to discuss House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-La.) battle to hold on to his gavel in a congressional vote this Friday.
But after the network released a teaser clip on Thursday, a large portion of the feedback focused on a totally unrelated subject.
“lol to whoever did his concealer,” one person wrote.
Nathan Hochman said Friday he was still reviewing thousands of pages of prison records to “analyze the rehabilitation aspect of resentencing.”
The House minority leader quickly corrected himself, saying he'd "fight hard" for Americans' voting rights.
Trump named Morgan Ortagus to work under his Middle East envoy, but seemed pretty reluctant about it: "Let's see what happens."
Livelsberger wrote in the note that he needed to “cleanse my mind” of the lives lost of people he knew and “the burden of the lives I took,” Livelsberger added.
The president-elect was convicted in May, but his sentencing has been delayed for months.
People also poked fun at the House clerk's description of the former Florida lawmaker as "honorable."
The former Florida congressman won reelection but gave up his seat to accept a nomination that never came.
“I was screaming and finally someone came over to me and they said, 'Listen, I know you’re hurt, but you’re alive. You’re alive,'” he recalled from a hospital.
"We're going to sit on the sidelines and eat our popcorn," the Texas Democrat said.
The New York Times reporter said she's "not surprised" with the direction the president-elect is taking.
