Massive volcano eruption recorded from space, triggers west coast tsunami warning

A tsunami last hit the west coast in 2011 following the incredible 9.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Japan.
The NWS in Portland, Seattle and the Bay Area indicate just how widespread authorities expect the wave to be.
The tsunami alert has hit "advisory" level, which means waves up to three feet high and conditions in the water remain dangerous.
