Massive fire erupts at bag shop in WB's Howrah

A major fire broke out in a bag shop in West Bengal's Howrah on Monday. No casualties have been reported.
A major fire broke out at a shop in Howrah Maidan on Monday afternoon. As many as eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. Thick smoke was seen spewing from the site, leading to panic in the area.
The traffic near the GP Road Howrah Maidan and Chintamani Day Road was stopped. Along with this, all the shops in the area have also been closed.
The traders were rescued while the shopkeepers were spotted rescuing their goods, one by one.
The cause of the fire is not clear yet. Police have arrived at the spot to investigate the matter.
