Massive cleanliness drive in Srisailam on Wednesday

Srisailam temple to conduct Swaccha Seva cleanliness drive in temple town, involving staff, locals, and commercial establishments.
Srisailam temple authorities will take up a special cleanliness drive, Swaccha Seva, in the temple town on January 8 (Wednesday) as part of ‘Swaccha Srisailam’ initiative.
Giving the details of the initiative, Srisailam temple Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao said extensive sanitation drive would be taken up in the temple town on the day. “A detailed plan has been chalked out and the entire temple town has been divided into six zones, 11 sectors and 66 places where the drive would be taken up,” Mr. Srinivasa Rao said.
A special officer has been appointed for each zone to oversee the sanitation drive. Similarly, the employees have been allotted special duties in each zone.
The sanitation drive will be taken up in the Mada streets, Gangadhara Mandapam to Nandi temple, at Alankareswaralayam, queue complexes, Annaprasadam complexes and its surrounding areas, Sri Lalithambika shopping complex, temple-run hospital area, Kalyanakatta, RTC bus stand, near Sakshi Ganapathi temple, Shikareswaram, Paladhara-Panchadara and at all the choultries run by the temple and mutts.
The temple staff and employees will participate in the drive. Mr. Srinivasa Rao urged the staff of various choultries run by mutts, local denizens and the managements and staff of the commercial establishments in the temple town to take part in the drive.
