The driver of a Maserati fled the scene of a crash in Surrey that left two people seriously injured Saturday night, according to authorities.

First responders were called to the scene on 75 Avenue near 124 Street around 10: 15 p.m., the Surrey Police Service saidn in a news release.
“Surrey Fire Service personnel arrived on scene first and provided life-saving care to a seriously injured male pedestrian,” the statement said, adding that investigators believe that man was standing between two parked vehicles was struck by the Maserati.
“A second individual who was inside a stopped/parked vehicle suffered less serious injuries but was also transported to hospital.”
The driver of the Maserati “immediately” fled the scene, police said.
