Mapping Covid-19, district wise: Close to 70% of India has turned red in two months

With a frail healthcare system desperately short of hospital beds and medical oxygen, the deadlier second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic is rapidly spreading to rural districts.
The soothing green cover seems all gone. India’s district map is instead blazing red now. In April 2020, authorities’ colour-coded the landscape to denote infection levels. Red indicated hotspots, areas with some infections were given orange, and zones almost Covid 19 free were coloured green.More Related News
