A special court in Mumbai on Tuesday sent two accused, Vinayak Shinde (51) and Naresh Gor (31) to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) custody till April 7 in connection with the Mansukh Hiren death case. The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) had arrested the accused on March 24 and handed them over to the NIA later. The custody was extended after the NIA told the court that the agency got the documents only on March 27, and needed more time to investigate the case. The NIA also informed the court that a meeting was held between suspended Mumbai police assistant inspector Sachin Vaze and Vinayak Shinde for conspiring to kill Mansukh Hiren. The NIA further said that Naresh Gor has given a disclosure statement.More Related News
