Dr. Brent Roussin, the chief provincial public health officer, will be speaking at a news conference at the Manitoba Legislative Building at 12:30 p.m. CTV News Winnipeg will live-stream the event.
This news conference comes after Health Canada recently approved Moderna’s Spikevax mRNA vaccine for children between the ages of six months and five years old.
On Tuesday, Health Minister Audrey Gordon said Manitobans will soon be given more information on the availability, approval, and rollout of this pediatric vaccine.
