Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's bail application over alleged irregularities in the now-scrapped liquor policy was rejected by a city court on Friday.
On March 24, the Delhi court had reserved its order.
The Central Bureau of Investigation or CBI on February 26 had arrested Mr Sisodia in connection with alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the liquor policy.
The Aam Aadmi Party leader, in his bail petition, stated that no fruitful purpose would be served to keep him in custody as all the recoveries in the case have already been made.
