Mangubhai Patel takes oath as governor of Madhya Pradesh

Patel took over the charge from Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, who had been holding the additional charge of Madhya Pradesh since July 2020.

Newly appointed Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel took the oath of office at the Raj Bhawan in Bhopal on Thursday. Patel, a senior tribal leader from Gujarat, is the 30th Governor of the state. He was administered the oath of office by Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Mohammed Rafiq.
