Mandatory visa on arrival hotels for Indian, Iranian and Pakistani nationals

The Ministry of Interior for the State of Qatar has mandated that all nationals with passports issued by India, Iran and Pakistan must book hotel accommodation with Discover Qatar for the full length of the stay in order to qualify for a ‘Visa on Arrival’. The changes come into effect on 14th April 2022.

As per the details available on the Discover Qatar website, Indian, Iranian and Pakistani nationals will be required to meet the following additional conditions in order to receive a ‘Visa on Arrival’:

1.            The visitor must have purchased hotel accommodation from the Discover Qatar website
