Man with links to Saudi terror outfit arrested from Tamil Nadu’s Thiruvallur

Raja Muhammad, a resident of Tamil Nadu’s Thiruvallur, was arrested by the CB-CID for having links with a terrorist outfit in Saudi Arabia. He was allegedly invited to Saudi Arabia and his social media accounts had posts promoting Islam and demeaning other religions.
The Crime Branch, Crime Investigation Department (CB-CID) arrested a man from Tamil Nadu’s Thiruvallur for having links with a terror outfit in Saudi Arabia. The initial probe revealed that he had shared posts promoting Islam and demeaning other religions on his social media.
According to an investigation, the accused, Raja Muhammad, had been staying at his relative's residence in Thiruvallur and was working at a meat shop.
In the initial probe, it was discovered that Raj Mohammad had been having connections with a terror outfit in Saudi Arabia. He was reportedly communicating with them over the Signal application.
Investigations also revealed that Raja Muhammad was also allegedly invited to Saudi. He was reportedly assured that a passport would be arranged for him.
Based on this information, the CB-CID arrested Raj Mohammad. Upon probing his social media accounts, officials discovered that he had posts promoting Islam and demeaning other religions.
Raja Muhammad has been arrested and sent to judicial custody.
