Toronto police are looking for a 25-year-old man after his brother was fatally shot overnight in the city's east end.
Police say they responded to reports of a person shot just after 11 p.m. on Saturday near Kingston Road and Markham Road in Scarborough.
In a news release Sunday, police said the men were arguing before one shot the other. The victim was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have identified the victim as Christopher Malcolm, 27, of Toronto.
The suspect is currently wanted for second-degree murder, the release said. He is described as 155 pounds, standing at 5 feet 11 inches, and he was last seen wearing a dark-coloured Adidas tracksuit.
At a news conference on Sunday, Det-Sgt. Amanda Thornton said the suspect was last seen travelling westbound on foot on Kingston Road. He is considered armed and dangerous, Thornton said.
The suspect "is urged to contact a lawyer and turn himself into the nearest police station," the news release said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
