A man performed CPR on a dog that had collapsed near a park in California in a video that has gone viral online.
In today’s dose of wholesome content, we have a video of a stranger who saved the life of a dog who had collapsed outside a park in Los Angeles, California. The man, named Jay, performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the dog and the video of the whole incident has gone viral online.
The now-viral video was shared by Jay on his Instagram account, Best Fetch Dog Dad. It was later reshared on Twitter by a page called Goodable. In the 46-second clip, recorded by an onlooker, Jay can be seen pressing on the chest of a 9-year-old boxer named Stone, who lay still on a sidewalk. The pooch wasn’t breathing and Jay tried his best to resuscitate it. He even performed CPR on the boxer. After some time of trying, the dog finally wriggled a bit and started breathing.
“Come on Stone, you got it baby,” Jay said as the canine regained consciousness.
“This man was out for a walk when he noticed a dog had collapsed on the sidewalk. He ran up, performed CPR, and saved the dog's life. #Humanity,” reads the caption of the post.
