Man killed after overnight e-bike crash near city's core

One man is dead after crashing on an e-bike near downtown London, Ont. early Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the incident on Horton Street near Wellington Road at around 12:30 a.m., according to London police. No other vehicle was involved.
The man, who has not been identified, was taken to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The London Police Service's traffic management unit is investigating the crash.
Horton Street was closed between Wellington Street and Clarence Street overnight, but has since reopened.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the crash who may have dash-cam footage or video surveillance to contact them at 519-661-5670.
