A man dressed like Mahatma Gandhi tried to hand over a cheque for Rs 2.63 lakh to the district authorities in Namakkal a day after the state's finance minister claimed that the Tamil Nadu government was facing a financial crisis.
A day after Tamil Nadu finance minister P Thiaga Rajan released a white paper on the state's finances, a man dressed like Mahatma Gandhi visited the district collector's office in Namakkal and tried to hand over a cheque for Rs 2.63 lakh. The authorities refused to accept the money.More Related News
