Man found dead on railway ground in UP's Kanpur

A body of a man was found on a railway ground in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. The police investigation is underway.
The dead body of a man was found in a forest area of a railway ground in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur. The incident took place at Nirala Nagar Railway Ground in the Govind Nagar area.
On receiving the information from locals, a team of police reached the spot.
The upper part of the carcass was eaten by animals and the police found a mobile phone in the pocket of the deceased.

The man was identified as Kallu, 32, and was a resident of Jajmau. Kallu used to work as a laborer here and was living with his wife Soni, two daughters and a son.
His wife told the police that on Tuesday morning, Kallu had left for work and had informed her that he would return home late. But when he didn’t return till 9 pm, she called him on his phone but it was not picked up. When she again called him in the morning, his phone was picked up by a policeman and he informed her about the incident.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway. ACP Govind Nagar, Vikash Kumar Pandey told India Today, "A forensic team has been called for investigation. A blade with blood, two mobiles, some money, slippers etc, have been recovered from the spot. There are some cuts in his hand too”.
