A 57-year-old man was found dead in his car in Montreal's Villeray neighbourhood on Tuesday morning.
A Montreal police spokesperson said bystanders called 911 to report an unconscious person in a vehicle on Champagneur Avenue near Ball Avenue, around 8:15 a.m.
When first responders arrived, they found the man unresponsive in a car that was running and covered in snow.
Paramedics transported him to the hospital in critical condition, where he was later declared dead.
Police say there were no marks of violence on the man's body and the cause of death was unclear.
The death is not considered criminal and the coroner's office is now investigating.
