Man dies after suffering stab wounds in west London Monday

London police say a man has died after being found Monday morning with significant stab wounds in the west-end of London.
Police got called at about 11:45 a.m. to Springbank Drive, west of Wharncliffe Road South. They found the man and he was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. They said he died later in the afternoon.
The Major Crime Section has taken over the investigation with assistance from members of the London Police Service, including the Forensic Identification Section.
"At this time, the investigation is ongoing," said London Police Const. Sandasha Bough.
"We can say the man was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries and we have a number of officers still on scene. We'll have Springbank Drive closed between Orchard and Wharncliffe Road South."
Police said Monday afternoon that no arrests had been made, and that streets in the area will be closed for several hours with a heavy police presence.
