
Man dead after shooting in northwest Toronto

A man has died in hospital after he was shot in northwest Toronto on Monday night, police say.
The shooting happened in the area of Tretheway and Black Creek drives. Officers were called to the scene at about 8:10 p.m.
Toronto paramedics took the man with life-threatening injuries to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said they have a presence in the area as officers continue to investigate.
The case is now a homicide investigation, police added. There's no word on suspects.
Police said they would provide an update on the shooting later on Monday.
