Charges have been laid in relation to the death of Prabhjot Singh Katri in Truro on Sept. 5.
Dylan MacDonald appeared in Shubenacadie provincial court Friday morning and is charged with accessory after the fact. He's alleged to have helped another man escape.
MacDonald is also alleged to have failed to stop a vehicle for police. He's been remanded into custody.
A second man also appeared in court. He hasn't been officially charged but court documents state he's alleged to have killed Singh.
Singh was found dead at a Robie Street apartment building in the early hours of Sept. 5.
He worked as a taxi driver and at restaurants in the Truro area.
More to come.

Two of B.C.'s three Independent MLAs have formed a political party that wants to lower taxes, take away teachers' right to strike, and crack down on so-called mass immigration. The party, called One B.C., also wants an end to what it calls B.C.'s "reconciliation industry," and to see the province allow for private healthcare.
