Man beaten up on way to court to marry another woman in Bihar’s Katihar

In-laws of Mohammad Abid thrashed him to teach him a lesson for being unfaithful to his wife.
An unusual sight has gone viral in Bihar’s Katihar. The in-laws of a man tied him to a poll and beat him up as he was going to marry another woman.
Mohammad Abid, fell in love with a woman and was going to a court to marry her but his wife, Sana Khatoon, caught him and informed her family members.
The incident took place in Mallikpur village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Azamnagar Police Station of Katihar district.

As per Sana, Abid, who used to live in Mumbai, stopped sending her money because he fell in love with another woman, who was a resident of a neighbouring village.
Abid persuaded his girlfriend to marry and was going to court to marry her on Saturday. While Abid was on the way to court, his wife Sana caught him and informed her family members. The family members then tied Abid to a poll and beat him up.
The family members said that the marriage was done with the consent of Abid and now he wanted to leave his wife and marry another woman and therefore, they thrashed him to teach him a lesson for being unfaithful to his wife.
