A man was arrested for issuing fake Covid-19 negative certificates, especially to travellers, in the Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu. The accused, identified as Dinesh, has been running a ticket-booking agency for bus, train and air travel for the past six months. The Tamil Nadu government has made it mandatory for inter-state travellers to apply for e-pass. Various other states have issued travel restrictions and certain states have also made it mandatory for passengers to carry Covid-19 negative test result.
