Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan to share screen space in Bilal? Chup actor has THIS to say

Dulquer Salmaan has addressed reports of him acting alongside Mammootty in Bilal. His reply, however, is not quite along expected lines.
It was recently rumoured that Dulquer Salmaan would be sharing screen space with his father and Mollywood legend Mammootty in Bilal. This created a fair deal of buzz among movie buffs. DQ has now reacted to the speculation. During a recent interview, he said that he has no idea whether such a thing will actually happen. Bilal is an actioner, directed by Amal Neerad. It's a sequel to the cult film Big B.
Dulquer Salmaan, who is awaiting the release of Chup, has reacted to rumours of him acting alongside Mammootty in Bilal. He told BollywoodLife that only the writer and director of the biggie can comment on his association with the flick. He, however, added that it would be really wonderful if he gets to be part of Bilal.
Bilal, directed by Amal Neerad, is an action drama that revolves around the life of the titular character. It is a sequel to Big B, which emerged as a major success in 2007. The first part revolved around the titular character's bond with this brothers. It featured punch dialogues and an emotional climax. It remains to be seen if the sequel does justice to the standards set by the first part. Bilal was slated to hit screens a lot earlier but got postponed due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
Dulquer, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. He will next be seen in R Balki's Chup. The Sita Ramam actor also has the crime drama King of Kotha in his kitty. It may feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. Mammootty, on the other hand, will next be seen in Rorschach. He also has the Akhil Akkineni-led Agent in the pipeline.
