Mamata Banerjee to support caste census if all parties agree

West Bengal Chief Minister has said she will support caste census if all parties agree on the matter.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said she will support a nationwide caste-based census if all parties reach a consensus on the issue. "If a consensus is reached, I will not have any problem accepting it. If all parties accept it, why won't I? Let political parties, the Chief Ministers, and the Central government reach a consensus," Mamata Banerjee said.
