BJP leader Amit Malviya took a jibe at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over her comments on declaring ‘jihad’ against the saffron party on July 21 during her speech in Asansol.
BJP leader Amit Malviya has slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee after she called for ‘jihad’ against the BJP on July 21 while addressing a public gathering in Asansol.
The CM said, “July 21 is nearly and you know it is Shahid Diwas. It is a day to declare ‘jihad’ against the BJP.”
She also said, “For the last two years, we could not hold rallies due to the Covid-19 pandemic.”
She also urged the local MLAs and people of Asansol to take part in the 21st July rally.
The All India Trinamool Congress organises a mass rally on July 21 every year to commemorate the 1993 Kolkata firing as Martys' Day.
Mamata Banerjee, sitting CM of Bengal, has declared 21Jul2022 as the day of “Jihad” against the BJP. Notwithstanding the fact that she is calling for violence against the people of Bengal, who believe in a different political ideology, the choice of words betrays a deranged mind. pic.twitter.com/5GRtbbO9ts
