Mamata Banerjee among frontrunners for PM post in 2024: Babul Supriyo

Babul Supriyo said he wants TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee to become the Prime Minister in 2024.

TMC leader and former Union minister Babul Supriyo said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was among the frontrunners for the prime ministerial post in the 2024 Lok Sabha election.

"I want the captain of our party, Mamata Banerjee, to become the Prime Minister in 2024. Opposition plays an important role in a democratic system. Nobody can deny the fact that Mamata Banerjee is among the top frontrunners for the prime ministerial post," Babul Supriyo told ANI.
