Mamata Banerjee Ahead Of BJP In Bengal, Shows Poll Of Exit Polls

Elections in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry were held from March 27 and Bengal voted in the last of eight rounds today. The results will be announced on May 2.
Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool will win 149 of 294 seats in Bengal and its nearest rival, the BJP, will be second with 116 seats, says NDTV's poll of exit polls after state elections. The polls give the Left 16 states. In Assam, the Congress is up for disappointment, predicts an aggregate of five exit polls, with the BJP expected to retain power with 75 of 126 seats. The Congress is likely to win 50 seats, the polls suggest.More Related News
