Malayalam director VA Shrikumar Menon arrested in cheating case

Director Shrikumar Menon has been arrested by Alappuzha Police in a cheating case. He received Rs 7 crore from Rajendran Pillai of Sreevalsam Group for a film, which didn't materialise.

Malayalam filmmaker VA Shrikumar Menon of Odiyan fame has been arrested by the Alappuzha South police in a cheating case. Earlier, Rajendran Pillai, who belongs to the Sreevalsam Business Group, filed a complaint against Shrikumar over the money transactions that took place between 2006 to present.
