Don’t worry, hot dogs apparently won’t have to go ketchup-free this summer.
Red Gold is the second-largest manufacturer of tomato products in the United States, according to a statement from the company. According to the press release, the company was prepared for the surge in demand for ketchup packets and was able to double its production capacity in May 2020. Due to the pandemic, restaurants have had to focus mainly on to-go orders. Even when dining rooms could be open, restaurants typically had to remove reusable items from tables (such as ketchup bottles) in order to prevent the spread of infection.More Related News
