Major box office collection Day 1: Adivi Sesh's film flying high already

Adivi Sesh’s Major is yet another June 3 release. The film clashes with Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj. The estimated box office figures of the Adivi Sesh film is out and what looks like it, the film will be a bigger opener than previous films of the South superstar.

Adivi Sesh’s Major released on June 3 and is already flying high! Thursday previews suggested that the film will open to over a Rs 2 crore collection at the box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Major springs a wonderful surprise in #USA Thu previews: $ 270,403 [ 2.10 cr]. Opens much, much bigger than #AdiviSesh’s previous films. @comScore (sic).” The actual Day 1 box office numbers are awaited.

Andhra Box Office tweeted, “#MajorTheFilm (Telugu) off to a Superb Start Today at the BoxOffice Worldwide! The response from the audiences inside theatres has been terrific from last night with Whistles, Roars & #BharatMataKiJai Chants. #Major (sic).”
