On the first day of his two-day visit to Tokyo, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the India community on Monday. PM Modi emphasised Japan’s importance as “natural partners” as well as spoke about India’s growing role in the world order.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian diaspora in Tokyo on Monday during his two-day visit to Japan to attend the Quad Summit.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said, “Today, India is celebrating 75 years of independence. As India inches towards 100 years of independence, the country is working towards reaching new heights in the next 25 years.”
PM Modi emphasised that this Azadi ka Amrut is going to write the history of India’s prosperity and accomplishments.

He added, "I know that the resolutions we have made are very big. But with the enthusiasm and confidence that is being seen in 130 crore Indians today, I am sure of the fulfillment of these resolutions."
“The oaths that we have taken are huge, but because of the teachings I received in life, “Mujhe makhan par lakeer karne mein maza nahi aata hain, main patthar par lakeer karta hoon," PM Modi told the Indian diaspora amid chants of ‘Modi, Modi’.
