Main markets in Lucknow voluntarily shut down to curb Covid transmission

Most of the main markets in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, have been shut down for a few days in wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. The markets were voluntarily closed by traders.
Most of the main markets in Lucknow, including Hazratganj and Aminabad, were voluntarily closed by traders for a few days on Thursday, in a bid to contain the novel coronavirus spread and break its chain. Hazratganj will remain closed till April 18, while several traders' bodies in Aminabad, including Jhandewala Park Vyapar Mandal, State Bank Vyapar Mandal and Dildar Vyapar Mandal, have decided to close their business from April 15 to April 21. The decision to close down was not taken by the government but the markets were voluntarily closed by traders.More Related News
