IPL 2021: Harbhajan Singh conceded that he has not had competitive action over the last 2 years but expressed confidence that he will be able to deliver for Kolkata Knight Riders, his third franchise in 14 years of the league.
World Cup-winning India off-spinner will turn for his third Indian Premier League franchise when he represents Kolkata Knight Riders at IPL 2021. Harbhajan, 40, did not play IPL for Chennai Super Kings in 2020 due to personal reasons but he was snapped up by KKR at the auction in February despite having set his base price at Rs 2 crore. Harbhajan Singh has not played competitive cricket since the Indian Premier League final in 2019. The senior off-spinner though was backed by KKR with captain Eoin Morgan stresing on Wednesday that he adds a lot of experience and value to the team's spin-bowling department. Harbhajan himself conceded that people may question his decision to continue playing in the IPL, adding that he is not here to prove anything to anyone but enjoying playing the game that gives him satisfaction.More Related News
