The makers were forced to postpone the release date after the RRR team blocked two slots for their theatrical release. According to the latest update, Sarkaru Vaari Paata will release in theatres on May 12. The makers made the announcement with a new poster.
The release of Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata was postponed twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier, the film was supposed to hit the theatres on Sankranti. The makers then pushed it to April 1. Since RRR is releasing on March 25, Mahesh Babu and his team have decided to push the release to May.
On January 31, the official Twitter handle of GMB Entertainment shared a new poster and wrote, "Date for the AuCTION is locked! #SarkaruVaariPaata worldwide release on May 12 #SVPOnMay12 (sic)."
