Maharashtra: Three killed in water tanker, bus collision in Washim district; seven injured

In Maharashtra's Washim district, a collision between a luxury hotel bus carrying passengers and a private water tanker led to the death of three people. Around 7 people were injured and have been admitted to the hospital.
In a tragic incident, a collision between a hotel bus carrying passengers and a private water tanker in Maharashtra’s Washim district claimed the lives of three people, including the drivers of vehicles.
The accident occurred near the Akola Naka area in Washim City in the morning hours when a privately operated bus for a hotel, travelling from Pune to Yavatmal collided head-on with a water tanker while heading in the opposite direction on Samrudhi Highway.
The impact of the collision was so severe that the two vehicles crashed into one another, leading to the deaths of the drivers of the tanker, the bus and one other person.
Amongst the bus passengers, the 7 injured have been admitted to District General Hospital in Washim.
