
Maharashtra Schools reopening from January 24, here’s district wise update

Maharashtra schools are all set to open in many districts from tomorrow, January 24, 2022. State school Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced to reopen all schools for Classes 1 to 12, followed by CM Uddhav Thackeray.
Maharashtra schools reopen: Amidst the prevailing scenario of Covid-19, Maharashtra schools are all set to reopen district-wise from January 24, 2022. The announcement was made by Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray where he announced the plan to reopen schools for all classes 1 to 12. The final decision is yet to be taken by the local authorities, like district collectors considering the Covid-19 cases in their districts.
Mumbai Schools are set to reopen from January 24, 2022, and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, BMC, has released the Mumbai School Reopening guidelines. However, students attending offline classes must have a 'Consent letter' from their parents. Nashik schools are set to reopen from Monday for all classes from primary to class 12.
As per the officials, Maharashtra on Saturday recorded 46,393 new cases of Covid-19.
