The state also reported 50 fatalities on Sunday, according to the state’s health bulletin. Maharashtra on Saturday had reported more 15,000 Covid-19 cases for the second straight day. On Sunday, the state reported its highest daily spike of 2021. The tally of cured cases in the state, however, has reached 21,34,072 after 8,861 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the recovery rate to 92.21 per cent.
