Maharashtra on Saturday reported a spike of 15,062 fresh coronavirus cases and 88 deaths. This is the second consecutive day that the state has reported over 15,000 cases despite lockdown and other restrictions announced in various districts and cities including Amravati, Nagpur, Pune, Aloka, among others. According to the latest data released by the state's health department, 7,467 patients were discharged from hospitals on Saturday. So far, 21,25,211 people have fully recovered from the virus and have been discharged. With this, state’s recovery rate has reached 92.49 per cent while the fatality rate has declined to 2.3 per cent. However, there are still 5,70,695 people in home quarantine and 5,031 people are in institutional quarantine in the state.More Related News
