Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik, arrested last week, on Monday approached the Bombay High Court seeking quashing of the case registered against him by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) probing money laundering linked to fugitive Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
Mr Malik is presently in the custody of the ED till March 3.
The Nationalist Congress Party leader on Monday filed a petition in the high court seeking to quash the case and also the order passed by a special court remanding him to the ED's custody.
