The Maharashtra government has laid down a fresh set of rules to rein in the spread of Covid in the state. The new guidelines mentioned that no movement in groups will be allowed between 11pm and 5am.
Maharashtra on Friday recorded 40,925 new coronavirus cases, 4,660 more than the previous day and a new high since the pandemic began. The state also reported 20 new deaths, the health department said.
