Maharashtra government had imposed COVID restrictions in May new restrictions will come into effect from August 15.
Mumbai: The new coronavirus protocols announced by the Maharashtra government will come into effect from Sunday, (August 15) as the state further relaxes COVID-19 restrictions that has been put in place in May due to the second wave of COVID-19. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced that shopping malls and restaurants will be allowed to remain open till 10 pm with a 50 per cent capacity with the condition that the entire staff is fully vaccinated. Also, spas and gymnasiums will also be allowed to function till 10 pm at a 50 per cent capacity on the condition that the entire staff at these establishments has taken both doses of the vaccine. Even local trains will be open for passengers who have received both doses of the the COVID-19 vaccine.More Related News
