
Maharashtra: Bombay High Court grants relief to man externed from Palghar for 6 months

The Bombay High Court granted relief to a Palghar resident who had been served a six-month externment order by the local authorities. The high court quashed the order.
The Bombay High Court has quashed an externment notice issued on March 26 by the Divisional Commissioner, Kokan Bhavan, against Palghar resident Ravindra Sudam Adhikari, 40. The local authorities declared Adhikari a threat to the locals and ordered him to be externed from Palghar for six months. The externment order was issued on the basis of statements by some witnesses against Adhikari, the high court observed.More Related News
