Maharashtra: BJP and MVA spar over Krishna Janmashtami celebrations

The nation will be celebrating Krishna Janmashtami in August-end. Given the current Covid-19 condition, it is being anticipated that strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be put in place during the festival time.

It is Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) versus Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) yet again in Maharashtra. This time the MVA government and Opposition are engaging in a war of words over the upcoming festive season. The BJP in the state has declared that it will celebrate the festival of Krishna Janmashtami with full fervour. The MVA government, on the other hand, has warned that all those breaking the rules will face serious action.
