The farmers died after vehicles belonging to Union minister Ajay Misra's son's convoy allegedly ran over protesters in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh on October 3. In the violence that followed, another four people — two BJP workers, a driver and a journalist — lost their lives.
