The preliminary autopsy report of Mahant Narendra Giri revealed that he died of asphyxia due to hanging and there were no injury marks on his body.
Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP) president Mahant Narendra Giri, who was found dead in his room on September 20, died of asphyxia due to hanging, the preliminary autopsy report has revealed.
On Wednesday, a panel of five doctors conducted an autopsy, after which the body was given for last rites. According to the post-mortem, the time of death of Mahant Narendra Giri was between 3 to 3.30 pm on September 20. There were no injury marks on the body.
