According to sources, all rebel Sena MLAs from the Shinde faction and independents will be present during the oath taking ceremony.

Around 12 Sena dissidents are likely to get ministerial berths in the new government, while around three independents and members of smaller parties like Prahar will also be adjusted later to the BJP or Shinde quota.

Uddhav Thackeray had resigned soon after the Supreme Court refused to stay Governor B S Koshyari's direction to his government to take a floor test in the Assembly on Thursday. His resignation came after over a week-long drama of resort politics started by rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde.
