Madurai: Govt hospital doctor suspended after patient alleges sexual harassment

A 24-year-old patient alleged that she was sexually harassed by a radiologist at Government Rajaji Hospital in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai. The doctor has now been suspended.

After a 24-year-old patient alleged that she was sexually harassed by a doctor at Government Rajaji Hospital in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai, the hospital created an internal committee to investigate the case.

On the basis of the preliminary findings of the committee, the accused doctor has been suspended. Further investigation is underway.
